To Provide An Online Network That Connects Pets With People
This network website was created to provide an informative listing service for people to find pets and pets to find people to provide them a “forever home”.
Pets need People is a 501(c) (3) Not for Profit Organization located in Central Missouri.
About us-
The established network has been evolving several years by just forwarding emails. This worked well and many pets were placed to wonderful homes. There were so many listings that the idea of creating a web site became a reality. After some thought and consideration, Pets need People became not only an online network but Incorporated as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Organization. With plans to help pets and people in several different areas (see the “Donations” page) the network will be a well rounded site for pets and people. We praise those people who care about their pets and want to find forever homes themselves with a little help from Pets need People.
What we do-
We are a network so a real person from Pets need People will post your pet’s picture and listing on the site.
Listings are free and will be added Monday through Friday.
We will question any listing if we feel necessary.
Pets are important to us so listings are viewed carefully prior to being put on our site.
We have a free monthly newsletter. See below how to get them.
We are located in the heart of central Missouri so we want to help pets and people in Missouri.
What we do not do-
We do not make any promises on adoption time frames, assist in adoptions or have pets in house to see on a daily basis.
We will not list for breeders, puppy mills or any listing that are questionable!
There is no "flagging" or "voting" if listings.
We do not charge "membership fees" or have "membership levels".
